Hospitalized and expelled from school: He told a general about a 'secret structure' before the coup

It has emerged that Turkish Military Academy student Hüsnü Kuzuluk intercepted Land Forces Commander Salih Zeki Çolak during a school visit in 2013, before the July 15 coup attempt, to report that there was a secret organization within the school.

It was learned that Hüsnü Kuzuluk told Salih Zeki Çolak, who was a lieutenant general in 2013, that his commanders were harassing him, tampering with his grades, and that a special organization was torturing a group like his own.

According to a medical report dated June 29, 2015, obtained by 12punto, following this behavior, Hüsnü Kuzuluk was diagnosed with 'paranoid psychosis' and his relationship with the military school was terminated.

On the night of July 15, Salih Zeki Çolak had gone to the Army Aviation Command to see if there was any suspicious activity following a tip-off. Later that night, Çolak was among those detained and taken to Akıncı Air Base.

Hüsnü Kuzuluk, whose relationship with the school was terminated, faced various hardships in his later life and had to continue his career as a prison guard.

HE REPORTED IT TO BIMER IN 2014

Hüsnü Kuzuluk, a Turkish Military Academy student expelled by FETÖ using a medical report, wrote petitions to the Prime Ministry Communication Center (BİMER) in 2014 describing the structure. Many of the soldiers Kuzuluk reported in his petitions were arrested after July 15. In the petitions, which described FETÖ as being systematically organized, Kuzuluk stated, “The cult wants to organize within the TSK (Turkish Armed Forces) just as it did in the General Directorate of Security,” and alleged that the parallel structure had seized control of the Appointment Department within the TSK.

Former Colonel İlhami Polat responded to Kuzuluk's petitions by saying, “No findings have been encountered to verify your allegations.” İlhami Polat fled the country on the morning of July 16, following the coup attempt.

WHAT ARE SHOCK SQUADS?

It was revealed that while FETÖ continued to organize within the TSK, it used 'shock squads' to purge military students who were not members of the organization from military schools using various methods before they even began their duties, with the aim of gaining a majority within the army and ensuring that all ranked personnel consisted of organization members.

It was determined that during the periods when the organization began to gain a majority in the army, it increased pressure and violence against students who were not FETÖ members, which was reflected in the number of students leaving the school.
