Hot air balloon causes panic in Nevşehir! Tourists stranded
After a hot air balloon made a controlled landing on top of fairy chimneys at the Zelve Open Air Museum in the Avanos district of Nevşehir, some panicked tourists climbed out of the balloon basket and became stranded in a rocky area. Gendarmerie, AFAD, UMKE, and fire department teams dispatched to the scene are continuing their efforts to rescue the tourists.

According to the information obtained, a hot air balloon made a safe landing on top of fairy chimneys at the Zelve Open Air Museum in the Avanos district for an as-yet-unknown reason. While the panicked tourists climbed out of the balloon's basket, the hot air balloon took off again and landed in a safe area.
Upon notification, gendarmerie, medical, fire, UMKE, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the region.
The teams have launched an operation to rescue the tourists stranded on the rocks.
