Hotel fire reports completed

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on his social media account that the preparation of reports regarding the fire tragedy that occurred in Bolu Kartalkaya has been completed.

In his statement, Yerlikaya used the following expressions:

Unfortunately, 78 of our citizens lost their lives in the fire that occurred in Kartalkaya on Tuesday, January 21. Our nation is deeply saddened.

Immediately after the fire, as the Ministry of Interior, we assigned two Civil Service Inspectors regarding our area of responsibility, and they immediately began their investigation work.

Our inspectors;

Completed their report regarding the Bolu Municipality on January 28, 2025 (the 7th day),

And completed their report regarding the Provincial Special Administration on January 31, 2025 (the 10th day) and delivered them to the Bolu Governorship.

Our Bolu Governorship has also sent the inspector reports to the Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

As our President has stated from the very first day, those who were negligent in the fire and those who broke our nation's heart will receive the punishments they deserve.

On this occasion, I once again wish God's mercy upon our citizens who lost their lives in the fire and offer my condolences to their relatives.
