How is Bahçeli's health? Statement from MHP's Semih Yalçın

Following the MHP's cancellation of this week's group meeting, it was revealed that MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli had been hospitalized. A statement regarding Bahçeli, whose health status has been a subject of curiosity, came from MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın. 

Speaking to Hilal Köylü from Serbestiyet, Yalçın said, "Multi-faceted medical tests and evaluations aimed at the permanent treatment of the ailment in question are ongoing."

MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın used the following expressions: 

“Our party's group meeting, which was expected to be held this week, has been canceled due to the persistence of the cough ailment that our Chairman, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, has contracted.

While this is the case, baseless rumors have begun to circulate in the public sphere by certain chronic circles regarding our Chairman's ailment, and attempts have been made to produce purposeful and malicious speculations.

Despite the health measures taken and the ongoing treatment, upon our Chairman's cough not subsiding, our physicians recommended that further examinations be conducted. Multi-faceted medical tests and evaluations aimed at the permanent treatment of the ailment in question are ongoing. Our Chairman's health is in good condition.”

From the MHP's X account, the following statement by Bahçeli's chief of staff, Murat Çeliker, had been shared:

“Nationalist Movement Party Chairman, our leader Devlet Bahçeli, will continue his work again after his tests and results are evaluated, as part of some examinations and a check-up planned in a controlled manner within a scheduled time frame.”
