Ilham Aliyev hosted Putin at his home
Russian President Vladimir Putin has paid an official visit to Azerbaijan. Putin, who will meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku, will discuss relations between the two countries and regional issues. Additionally, a joint declaration and agreements will be signed during the visit.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Azerbaijan for official talks.
Putin was welcomed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in the capital, Baku, by Azerbaijan's First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov and Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov.
Following the welcome, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his wife, Mehriban Aliyeva, hosted Putin at their home. Putin, Ilham Aliyev, and Mehriban Aliyeva dined together.
Putin will meet with Aliyev again tomorrow. The leaders will discuss Russia-Azerbaijan relations, the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and current international and regional issues.
As part of the visit, Putin and Aliyev will sign a joint declaration, and a series of agreements will also be signed between the two countries.
