İmamoğlu announces: 'I am very happy when I receive this news!'

CHP presidential candidate and IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu, who has been imprisoned in Silivri Prison since March 23, made a new statement through his lawyers.

İmamoğlu announced that the number of IMM nurseries will increase from 113 to 129 and that they will open 16 new nurseries. Pointing out that the number of IMM nurseries was zero when he took office in 2019, İmamoğlu stated in his announcement, "I am very happy when I receive this news, you should be happy too."

The full text of İmamoğlu's statement is as follows:

"One of the issues I follow closely while in prison is our nurseries under construction. The promises we made to the children of Istanbul are more valuable than anything else. The number of nurseries, which was zero in 2019, is rising from 113 to 129. We are opening 16 more new nurseries. I am very happy when I receive this news, you should be happy too."
