The Republican People's Party (CHP) has issued a harsh response to the decision to seize visuals of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu.
With a decision taken by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on May 23, proceedings were initiated to remove İmamoğlu's election posters and photographs.
GIANT BANNER AT HEADQUARTERS
Following the ban, while citizens showed their reaction by hanging photographs of İmamoğlu in their homes and workplaces, the CHP also responded with a political message.
After the "Freedom for İmamoğlu" banner hung on the July 15 Martyrs Bridge the other day, this time a giant banner featuring the same words was placed at the CHP Headquarters.
