CHP's imprisoned presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu has reacted sharply to the rejection of his appeal in the case he filed against the cancellation of his university diploma. İmamoğlu stated, "If your plan is a snap election, the youth of this country, whose future has been stolen, will hold you accountable."

CHP's imprisoned presidential candidate and Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Ekrem İmamoğlu made a striking statement following the rejection of his appeal in the legal battle he initiated against the cancellation of his university diploma. Sending a message from Silivri via his Presidential Candidate Office account, İmamoğlu criticized the political will behind the decision and the members of the judiciary involved.

"AS PURE AS MY MOTHER'S MILK"

Describing the cancellation of his diploma as an "organized operation," Ekrem İmamoğlu expressed his reaction with the following words:

"This is an operation carried out by everyone, from the person who gave the initial order to those within the judiciary who signed off on it, to cancel the diploma of '23-year-old Ekrem,' which is as pure as his mother's milk. This theft, committed 32 years later, is an organized robbery carried out for material gain and career advancement at the expense of our youth's labor, future, and hopes."

"IF YOUR PLAN IS A SNAP ELECTION, YOU WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE"

Drawing attention to the timing of the decision and suggesting that the government is calculating for an election, İmamoğlu concluded his message with this stern warning:

"If your plan is a snap election; the youth of this country, whose future has been stolen, along with their mothers and fathers, will hold you accountable. Very soon!"
