Ekrem İmamoğlu, whose social media accounts have been shut down one after another and who has recently been making posts via the Presidential Candidate Office account, has made another striking post.

Listing the accusations directed at him in the IMM indictment, İmamoğlu used the following expressions in his post, to which he added the note 'why are we being held captive?':

"Do not forget!

Why are we being held captive? It is because of these lies:

They said, "There is money in the suitcases," but it turned out to be a jammer.

They said, "There is 560 billion in corruption," but they reduced it to 160 billion in the indictment. The 400 billion in between was forgotten(!)

Different people gave the exact same statement, down to the punctuation, on different dates.

Election campaigning was considered a crime.

Donations to daycare centers were considered bribery.

Slogans, banners, and chants at the CHP Convention were considered crimes.

They called it a "corruption investigation," but a request to shut down the CHP emerged.

They fabricated espionage from a single photograph and placed it into an organizational chart.

They said, "Apartments were given to delegates from Kiptaş," but not a single record was found.

They said, "iPhones were distributed to delegates"; it turned out that the phone model mentioned had not yet been released on the market at that date. It was not included in the indictment.

They said, "2 million dollars were found under the floorboards," but it was not included in the indictment. They admitted it was a lie.

They said, "İmamoğlu seized my shop," but it turned out the structure was illegal."
