İmamoğlu makes 'election' reference to Özel during wedding ceremony

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who officiated a wedding, made an 'election' reference to the wedding witness, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, saying, "Our chairman is already used to winning."

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel attended the wedding ceremony of journalist Gülşah İnce and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oğuz Demir in Istanbul.

Serving as a witness for the couple, CHP leader Özel conveyed his best wishes to the İnce and Demir families.

At the wedding, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu officiated the ceremony.

"USED TO WINNING"

In his speech, İmamoğlu said, "May God grant them happiness. It is very valuable that our esteemed chairman is also accompanying us.

I am not sure about how the two sides are balanced or not. There are people on both sides who support both sides. Therefore, I think there is a situation that balances both sides.

We are not looking at the matter institutionally, Mr. Doğan, we are looking at it on an emotional basis. Just so you know, Mr. Doğan. Our chairman is already used to winning."
