Imamoğlu operation on social media: 30 more people detained
Following the detention and arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, 30 people have been detained in an operation for allegedly making provocative posts on social media platforms.

Following the detention and arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu on corruption charges, 260 out of 1,879 people detained as a result of protests across the country have been arrested.
In addition to the protests, social media posts have also been placed under investigation. An operation was carried out in 23 districts, and 30 people were detained on the grounds that they made provocative posts.
