Imamoglu responds to AKP banners hung in front of Caglayan Courthouse targeting IMM: 'Good luck with your losing campaign'

The AKP Istanbul Provincial Presidency, regarding the IMMinvestigationsthat are beingconductedatthe Caglayan Courthouse bus stops in front ofthe Istanbul MetropolitanMunicipality (IMM) had billboards put up.

The posters from the AKP İstanbul Provincial Presidency stated, 'They said borrowing is treason, they increased the IMM's debt to 350 billion Turkish Lirato increased it. The banners read, 'It's coming out of your life.'

Imamoglu made the following statement on his social media accounts:

"You remember the night of March 31, 2019. Banners claiming victory were hung all over Istanbul.

But those banners didn't feature the winners, they featured the losers.

That day, they paid the price for distorting the truth by losing even more heavily.The government, which lacks the courage to face the truth, is taking refuge in smear campaigns, lies, and slander.
