In the CHP, which emerged victorious from the March 31 Local Elections, all eyes are now turned to the 2028 Presidential elections.

Discussions regarding Presidential candidacy have already begun within the CHP.

FIRST POST CAME WHILE ÖZEL WAS SPEAKING

While CHP Chairman Özgür Özel was speaking at a hazelnut rally in Giresun yesterday, Sancaktepe Mayor Alper Yeğin shared a photo of IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu with the Presidential seal. Yeğin captioned his post, "The day will come, the tide will turn, hope will arrive #TheSolutionIsClear #WeWillDefinitelySucceed."

FIRST SANCAKTEPE, THEN SILIVRI MAYOR

Following Yeğin, Silivri Mayor Bora Balcıoğlu made the same post.

İMAMOĞLU REACTED: IT BOTHERED ME

After this post by the CHP mayors, all eyes turned to İmamoğlu.

Holding a press conference in Saraçhane regarding the SGK debts on the agenda, İmamoğlu stated, "They should not get involved in these matters, they should not concern themselves with them. If they have some feelings, they should forget them for now. Everything will be discussed when the time comes. It does not interest or flatter my spirit in the slightest; on the contrary, it has bothered me."

ŞİLE MAYOR DID NOT LISTEN TO İMAMOĞLU

However, Şile Mayor Özgür Kabadayı did not listen to İmamoğlu's "It bothered me" statement.

Just like Yeğin and Balcıoğlu, Kabadayı shared a photo of İmamoğlu with the Presidential seal and used the words, "The day will come, the tide will turn, hope will arrive #TheSolutionIsClear #WeWillDefinitelySucceed." Kabadayı deleted his post shortly after.
