The imprisoned presidential candidate and elected IMM Mayor Ekrem Imamoğlu shared a striking message on his social media account.
Imamoğlu wrote the following:
"A new disease has been discovered in politics.
THE DISEASE OF STEALING things one does not possess, or elections or offices one could not win.
E.g. Diplomas, mayoralties, kindergartens, cultural assets…
The state the country has reached with the mentality that 'the end justifies the means' is clear. We must get rid of this mentality."
