İmamoğlu's 'bill' call finds response! Thousands of liras in aid collected

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) President Ekrem İmamoğlu, the CHP's presidential candidate who was detained as part of the March 19 operations, had issued a call for the 'pay-it-forward bill' project in a post on his social media account.

In his post, İmamoğlu had used the following expressions:

Within a short period of 15 hours, bills totaling 936 thousand TL were paid with donations from thousands of contributors.
