IMM announces 'AnadoluTRAM': A tram is coming to the Anatolian Side! 3 districts will be connected
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) shared a post on X regarding the AnadoluTRAM tram line, which was previously announced by IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and will connect the Maltepe, Kadıköy, and Üsküdar districts. The post provided details regarding the project.

The IMM has begun work on the construction of a new tram line between Maltepe, Kadıköy, and Üsküdar, which currently experience heavy traffic congestion on the Anatolian Side.
3 DISTRICTS WILL BE CONNECTED
IMM Rail Systems Projects Branch Manager Setenay Uludağ stated in her remarks on the subject, "We call this the tram of the Anatolian Side. We named it 'AnadoluTRAM.' It is a project approximately 21.3 km long, consisting of 33 stations, that connects 3 districts—Maltepe, Kadıköy, and Üsküdar—via a light rail tram system."
