Across Istanbul, 36 parking lots operated by İSPARK have been closed by teams from the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Department of Municipal Police due to a lack of licenses.

According to information obtained, IMM teams determined that numerous parking lots operating in various districts under İSPARK's management did not possess the necessary legal permits. In this context, 36 parking lots with a total capacity of thousands of vehicles were sealed and closed to use.

Some of the parking lots closed as part of the enforcement are listed as follows:

  • Bağcılar City Square Underground Parking Lot (1162 vehicle capacity)
  • Bayrampaşa Arda Turan Multi-Storey Parking Lot (500 vehicle capacity)
  • Fatih Multi-Storey Parking Lot (118 vehicle capacity)
  • Ümraniye Haldun Alagaş Multi-Storey Parking Lot (197 vehicle capacity)
  • Balmumcu Multi-Storey Parking Lot (400 vehicle capacity)
  • Şişli Underground Parking Lot (581 vehicle capacity)

Bollards, barriers, and tape were placed at the entrances of these parking lots. Notably, a warning notice reading "Closed, sealed" attached to a bollard at the entrance of the parking lot in Bağcılar drew attention.

On the other hand, it was learned that vehicles currently inside the sealed parking lots are being allowed to exit, meaning there is no obstacle for drivers wishing to leave the facilities.
