IMM Deputy Secretary General Polat: 'I was detained this morning after a search of my home'

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat stated the following in a post on his X (Twitter) account:
"To my friends, colleagues, and brothers and sisters who are concerned about me, I was detained this morning after a search of my home. However, no power can hinder the love we have for Istanbul, our people, and our homeland.
Together with Ekrem İmamoğlu, we have worked to protect all of Istanbul's values, and we will continue to do so. I embrace everyone with love."
