IMM responds to Yeni Şafak's 'apartment in exchange for votes' claim
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) has categorically denied the "apartment in exchange for votes" allegation made by the newspaper Yeni Şafak regarding the CHP.

A report published in the pro-government newspaper Yeni Şafak claimed that CHP Istanbul Provincial President Niyazi Güneri had changed his position within the party by receiving two apartments from KİPTAŞ.
The report alleged that these claims were made by a "whistleblower" named M.A. who had applied to the prosecutor's office.
IMM STATEMENT: "CLAIMS ARE BASELESS"
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality responded to these allegations through its "IMM Rebuttal" (İBB Tekzip) account on social media.
The statement included the following remarks:
LIE: The lie that 2 apartments were given to the CHP Pendik District President by the IMM subsidiary KİPTAŞ for the party congress.
TRUTH: The person in question purchased one apartment in 2002 (23 years ago) during the AK Party era from the Pendik Aydos Residences through public sales, and another apartment from the Pendik Arkatlı Houses—where sales authority rested with the contractor—also through public sales, paying the maturity difference and receiving no special privileges; they made all payments themselves.
