Important step from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security regarding the fire in Kocaeli: 7 people suspended
The Ministry of Labor and Social Security has issued a statement regarding the fire that occurred in Dilovası, Kocaeli.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Security announced that the Kocaeli Provincial Director of the Social Security Institution (SGK), the Deputy Provincial Director of the SGK in Kocaeli, the Director of the Gebze Social Security Center, the Kocaeli Provincial Director of the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), the Director of the İŞKUR Dilovası Service Center, the Branch Manager responsible for İŞKUR CİMER, and one staff member have been suspended following the fire at a perfume filling facility in the Dilovası district of Kocaeli, which resulted in the loss of 6 lives.
The statement included the following: "We wish God's mercy upon our citizens who lost their lives in the tragic incident that occurred in the Dilovası district of Kocaeli province, and we wish a speedy recovery to our injured citizens. We convey our best wishes to our nation. Two chief inspectors and one inspector have been assigned by our Ministry regarding the incident in question, and the process is being followed meticulously in all its aspects."
"ALL NECESSARY STEPS ARE BEING TAKEN"
In the statement, which noted that 7 people were suspended, it was stated: "Furthermore, an investigation has been initiated regarding the personnel of the SGK and the Provincial Directorate of the Turkish Employment Agency concerning the incident. For the integrity of the investigation, the Kocaeli Provincial Director of the SGK, the Deputy Provincial Director of the SGK in Kocaeli, the Director of the Gebze Social Security Center, the Kocaeli Provincial Director of the Turkish Employment Agency, the Director of the İŞKUR Dilovası Service Center, the Branch Manager responsible for İŞKUR CİMER, and one staff member have been suspended. Every stage of the process is being carefully monitored to ensure the public is accurately informed, and all necessary steps are being taken."
