Indictment accepted in Kartalkaya hotel fire case

In the fire that broke out on the night of January 21 at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Kartalkaya Ski Resort, 78 people lost their lives, and 31 people were taken into custody as part of the investigation conducted by the Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Among those arrested were 22 suspects, including hotel owner Halit Ergül, general manager Emir Aras, Deputy Mayor of Bolu responsible for the fire department Sedat Gülener, Provincial Special Administration Secretary General Sırrı Köstereli, and Acting Fire Department Chief Kenan Coşkun.
