Indictment prepared for Muhittin Böcek

The indictment prepared for Mayor Muhittin Böcek and other suspects, who were arrested as part of the bribery and corruption investigation conducted into the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, has been completed. This 1,200-page indictment, prepared by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, is expected to be submitted to the court by the weekend. If the indictment is accepted, the court will set a date for the trial.

Last July, within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Muhittin Böcek and his former daughter-in-law, Z.K., were taken into custody. In the same investigation, it was determined that Muhittin Böcek's son, Mustafa Gökhan Böcek, was abroad. After being referred to the courthouse following their detention, Muhittin Böcek was arrested, while his former daughter-in-law, Z.K., was released with a travel ban and judicial control conditions.
