Indictment prepared regarding the armed attack on Serhat Akın

The indictment states that, following instructions received from abroad, multiple individuals acted in unity of intent and action before and after the incident, emphasizing that camera footage confirmed reconnaissance was conducted at the scene prior to the attack.

The indictment stated that Serhat Akın's injuries included comminuted bone fractures, and according to the Forensic Medicine Institute report, the impact on his vital functions was assessed as severe.

The indictment classified the act as "attempted premeditated murder," taking into account that 3 shots were fired at Akın from a close range of 3-4 meters, all 3 bullets struck the target, the suspects fled after the incident, and the nature of the weapon used in the attack.

The indictment explains that the fugitive suspect H.Ş., who is also wanted for another "intentional homicide" committed in Kumburgaz this year, incited the crime by giving instructions to O.D., O.M., and E.Ü. to shoot the complainant Serhat Akın. It was reported that after O.D. fired at the complainant with a pistol obtained from E.Ü., O.M. arrived at the scene on a motorcycle to facilitate O.D.'s escape.

The indictment emphasized that E.Ü. participated in the incident by conducting reconnaissance at the scene with suspects O.M. and O.D. before the attack and providing the pistol and masks used; İ.T. helped the fleeing suspects hide; M.A. provided the helmet used by O.D. during the attack to ensure the secrecy of the act; and Y.G. delivered 250 thousand liras, received from the instigator H.Ş. and considered payment for the job, to suspects O.D. and O.M.

The indictment prepared by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office seeks up to 20 years in prison for 7 suspects on charges of "attempted premeditated murder."

The indictment has been sent to the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office with a request for a lawsuit to be filed.
