In the continuation of the footage, the person named Cihan Demirel claimed that he started working at the Ministry of Transport and that his position was secured thanks to Esenler Mayor Mehmet Tevfik Göksu.

Esenler Mayor Mehmet Tevfik Göksu made a statement regarding the footage in question on his social media account.

Denying the allegations, Göksu used the following expressions:

"I have never seen the person named Cihan Demirel, who claims to have been hired by our Ministry of Transport using my name, in my life; I have not met him, and I do not know who he is. The statements made about me are untrue. We are initiating legal proceedings regarding this individual."

IETT ALSO ISSUED A STATEMENT

In a statement regarding the matter on its official account, IETT stated that the individual named Cihan Demirel had never worked on the IETT staff.
