Individual with 15-year prison sentence for various crimes caught playing okey

In Bursa, an individual with a finalized prison sentence of 15 years and 2 months for various crimes worked as a shepherd in the mountains for approximately 10 years to avoid capture. In their latest detailed investigation, they placed Davut D., who had 9 arrest warrants and a finalized prison sentence of 15 years and 2 months for 'theft, property damage, qualified violation of residential immunity, fraud using information systems, and breach of trust due to service,' under close surveillance.

WORKED AS A SHEPHERD TO AVOID CAPTURE

Investigations revealed that the individual had been on the run for 10 years and 8 months, working as a shepherd in the mountains to avoid being caught, and had no fixed address.

KNOWN BY HIS BROTHER'S NAME

Deepening their investigation, the teams determined that Davut D. had introduced himself as his brother, Ali D., at the places where he worked. It was learned that Davut D., who had been working as a shepherd in the village of Tophisar in Karacabey, would come to the Esenevler neighborhood of the central Yıldırım district for one day after 10 years and 8 months to meet with his friends.

NEIGHBORHOOD UNDER BLOCKADE

Taking precautions in the Esenevler neighborhood, the teams waited for the suspect, Davut D., to arrive. After a while, the teams caught Davut D. while he was drinking tea at an okey table with his friend and took him into custody. Davut D., who was taken to the Public Security Branch, was arrested by the court to which he was referred after his statement.
