Inspection in Arnavutköy: 701 thousand lira fine for 70 drivers and vehicle owners

In Arnavutköy, 110 vehicles were inspected during a check on heavy-load vehicles conducted by teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Traffic Inspection Branch. In the operation, which was supported from the air, a total of 701 thousand 376 lira in administrative fines were issued to 70 vehicle drivers and owners found to be in violation of the rules.

Teams from the Civil Traffic Regulation and Inspection Bureau of the Istanbul Police Department's Traffic Inspection Branch conducted an inspection of vehicles carrying heavy loads and excavation materials in Arnavutköy.

A large number of police officers took part in the inspection point established in front of the rest facilities.

Drones also supported the field work of the civil traffic teams. While heavy-tonnage vehicles moving in the region were tracked from the air, trucks brought to the inspection point were checked by the teams.

During the operation, the documents and vehicles of a total of 110 vehicle drivers were checked one by one. As a result of the inspections, a total of 701 thousand 376 lira in administrative fines were imposed on 70 vehicle drivers and vehicle owners found to be in violation of the regulations.
