Inspections of private hospitals increased following the "Newborn Gang" operation! That hospital's intensive care unit has been shut down
Following the "Newborn Gang" operation, the Ministry of Health has increased its inspections of private hospitals. In Şanlıurfa, the neonatal intensive care unit of the Private Meydan Hospital was shut down as a result of inspections by Provincial Health Directorate teams. This decision was formalized with the approval of the Şanlıurfa Governor's Office.

“Newborn gang” Following the operation, the Ministry of Health has increased its inspections of private hospitals. Teams affiliated with the Urfa Provincial Health Directorate determined during their detailed examinations at the Private Meydan Hospital that the neonatal intensive care unit should stop accepting patients and that birth-related surgeries should be halted. It was decided that the babies receiving treatment there would be transferred to public hospitals.
Following the completion of the transfer procedures, it was decided to shut down the unit in question. The Ministry of Health announced that inspections of private hospitals will continue across the country.
Meydan Hospital officials stated, “Currently, our neonatal unit has been suspended. Our discussions with the Provincial Health Directorate are ongoing. What will happen will become clear in the coming days. There is no negative situation regarding our hospital.”
