The wedding ceremony of BRSA Vice President Mustafa Aydın has caused a major stir in the press and on social media.
It is alleged that the Ministry of Treasury and Finance has issued instructions to launch an investigation following claims that Aydın invited managers he is responsible for supervising to the wedding and accepted high-value gifts from them.
WHAT HAPPENED?
It was revealed that BRSA Vice President Mustafa Aydın invited executives from banks and private financial institutions under the agency's supervision to his wedding ceremony, and that general managers of banks under BRSA supervision, as well as owners and managers of private financial institutions, stood in line to present gifts.
It was alleged that the companies attending the wedding presented gifts worth between 150 thousand and 350 thousand liras, and that some banks had set budgets at similar levels.
Among the names attending the wedding were BRSA President Şahap Kavcıoğlu, former Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu, and MHP deputies.
