Interim ruling issued in Isias Hotel case: Next hearing on December 24
The fifth hearing of the trial regarding the Adıyaman Grand Isias Hotel, which collapsed in the February 6, 2023, Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes and became the grave of 72 people, including TRNC athletes and tour guides, has been held. With the interim ruling announced, it was decided that the 3 detained defendants will remain in custody.

The interim ruling has been announced in the trial of the Adıyaman Grand Isias Hotel, which collapsed in the February 6, 2023, Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes. In the 5th hearing held at the Adıyaman 3rd High Criminal Court, it was decided that the 3 defendants will remain in custody. The date for the next hearing was announced as December 24.
TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, along with members of parliament from the TRNC ruling and main opposition parties, followed the Isias Hotel trial, which became the grave of 72 people, including TRNC athletes and tour guides.
Before the hearing, families gathered in front of the Adıyaman Courthouse, carrying photographs of their loved ones lost in the earthquake.
