Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announces: 15 organized crime groups dismantled in 31 provinces

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated in a post on his X account, "Within the scope of the Cage Operation (Kafes Operasyonu) carried out simultaneously in 31 provinces, 15 organized crime groups and 24 criminal organizations that provided weapons to these groups were dismantled." Minister Yerlikaya also reported that 161 pistols and 164 shotguns were seized.

A criminal group engaged in qualified looting activities led by an individual named Resul Ağyürek in Tekirdağ,

Within the scope of the operations:

161 pistols, 164 shotguns, 2 long-barreled weapons, as well as a large amount of ammunition, various quantities of narcotics, and checks/promissory notes were seized. I congratulate our police officers who carried out the operations.
