Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that the Bayğaralar Organized Crime Group was dismantled as part of the Cage Operations carried out simultaneously in 6 provinces, with 55 suspects arrested and dozens of weapons seized.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on his social media account that a simultaneous operation was carried out in 6 provinces against the Bayğaralar Criminal Organization by the Adana Provincial Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch, under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Department.
The following statements were included in the post made on Yerlikaya's social media account:
"A simultaneous operation was carried out in Adana, Mersin, Bursa, Antalya, Osmaniye, and Mardin against the Bayğaralar organized crime group, led by an individual named Ramazan Bayğara, which was determined to have committed 7 separate murders across Adana province, wounded 13 individuals with whom they had disputes using firearms, established mock courts for debt-related matters to gain financial benefits, shot at numerous businesses for intimidation and extortion purposes, forcibly seized businesses and properties belonging to business people, engaged in drug trafficking, and committed fraud."
"55 suspects were arrested as part of the operations. During the searches conducted within the scope of the operations, 3 AK-47 Kalashnikov automatic weapons, 1 Mp5 automatic weapon, 1 Thomson automatic weapon, 29 pistols, and 7 shotguns were seized."
