Minister Çiftçi, in a statement on his social media account, said: "Within the scope of the 2026 General Assignment Period of our General Directorate of Security, we have determined the new duty stations for a total of 19,096 of our heroic police personnel, including 1,528 of our supervisors and 17,568 of our police officers.

Each of our organization members, who work with great sacrifice day and night for the peace of our nation, the security of our state, and the preservation of our public order, will continue to serve in their new duty stations with the same faith, determination, and sense of responsibility.

Our Turkish Police Organization carries the power of our state, the prayers of our nation, and the trust of our crescent-and-star flag on its shoulders.

I wish these assignments to be auspicious for our Police Organization, our personnel, and their precious families.

May the Lord protect each of them from all kinds of visible and invisible dangers.

May He grant them success in their duties. May God be their helper and supporter."
