Interior Ministry issues 'orange' alert for 1 city, 'yellow' alert for 18 cities
The Ministry of Interior has issued an "orange" meteorological alert for İzmir and a "yellow" alert for 18 provinces for tomorrow.

According to the statement made on the ministry's social media account, based on the latest information received from the General Directorate of Meteorology, an "orange" alert has been issued for İzmir and a "yellow" alert for 18 provinces due to the thunderstorms and storms expected tomorrow.
Local heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in the vicinity of Bursa and Yalova.
The precipitation, which is expected to be locally heavy in the northern and western parts of Balıkesir, the inland parts of Çanakkale, and the surroundings of Edirne, Tekirdağ, and Kırklareli, is forecast to occur in the form of showers and thunderstorms.
The wind is expected to be strong and stormy from southern directions in the Inner Aegean and southern Marmara, the southeast of Balıkesir, Bursa and Bilecik, and in Central Anatolia in the surroundings of Konya, Karaman, Niğde, and Aksaray, as well as Eskişehir and Isparta.
Citizens have been urged to be careful and take precautions against negative consequences such as floods, water inundation, lightning, hail, strong winds during precipitation, disruptions in transportation, roof damage, and falling trees.
