Intervention against Telegram following the attack in Kahramanmaraş
An access ban has been requested for 66 URLs spreading provocative content on Telegram regarding the school attack in Kahramanmaraş. The group named “C31K,” which had approximately 100,000 members and was used to share footage of the incident, has been shut down.

A judicial process has been initiated against accounts identified as spreading footage of the attack at Ayser Çalık Secondary School in Kahramanmaraş via Telegram.
Within the scope of efforts coordinated by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, investigations were conducted by the General Directorate of Security's Cyber Crimes Combat Department and the relevant Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices. The findings determined that footage of the attack was being shared, particularly on Telegram, and that provocative content was being circulated.
In order to protect public order and prevent the spread of such content, a request was made for the removal of content and the blocking of access to 66 different URL addresses.
Furthermore, the group named “C31K,” which had approximately 100,000 members and was identified as the platform where footage of the attack was shared, has been shut down. While judicial proceedings have been initiated against users identified as making provocative posts, it was reported that the investigation is continuing in a multi-faceted manner.
