Intervention continues for forest fire in Çanakkale
Regional Directorate of Forestry teams are responding to the forest fire that broke out in Çanakkale with 6 helicopters, 16 fire trucks, 5 bulldozers, and other vehicles.

A fire broke out in a forested area in the village of Sarıcaeli, located in the central district of Çanakkale, at approximately 16:30 for reasons yet to be determined.
Upon notification, numerous Regional Directorate of Forestry teams were dispatched to the region. The forest fire is being fought from both the air and the ground.
In a statement made on the Çanakkale Governor's Office social media account, it was stated, "The intervention in the Çanakkale Central Saraycık fire is continuing effectively with 6 helicopters, 16 fire trucks, 5 bulldozers, and other vehicles. The fire is progressing as a grass fire in an area that burned last year. All our institutions are working devotedly in the field with their vehicles and personnel."
