Intervention in 'Give Me My Rights' campaign: 30 detained
Police intervened against workers who gathered in Ankara as part of the "Give Me My Rights" campaign, which was launched by numerous union leaders and organizing experts. According to Tarım-Sen, 30 people were detained.

In the "Give Me My Rights" campaign launched by numerous union leaders and organizing experts, unionists had stated that a war had effectively been declared on all segments of the public through the program created within the framework of the Medium-Term Program and the 12th Development Plan, pointing to the necessity of a joint struggle against this program of attacks.
The campaign group, which includes signatories, met in Ankara today with farmers to defend their living spaces against mining, energy, construction, and tourism projects. However, the group faced police intervention. According to information provided by Tarım-Sen, approximately 30 people were detained.
The campaign signatories listed their demands as follows:
"We say 'Give Me My Rights' against the usurpation of our severance pay under the name of the Complementary Retirement System,
The expansion of flexible and insecure employment through fixed-term employment contracts by amending the Labor Law,
Being condemned to poverty by determining the minimum wage increase based on target inflation,
The expansion of plunder and pillage by defining mining exploration activities as 'activities in the public interest',
The further commodification of our basic rights such as education, health, energy, and housing as a result of austerity policies, and against robbery through new taxes and utility bill hikes"
