Investigation into 721 websites!
Action has been initiated against 721 illegal internet addresses following an application by the Gendarmerie.

During virtual patrol activities conducted by the Ankara Provincial Gendarmerie Command, action was initiated against 721 websites determined to be illegal.
In a statement released by the Provincial Gendarmerie Command, it was noted that 1,663 social media and URL addresses were examined between March 1 and March 31.
Within this scope, action was initiated against 601 websites facilitating illegal betting, 111 websites determined to be sharing obscene content, and 9 websites identified as engaging in phishing fraud.
Furthermore, as part of efforts to solve unsolved cyber incidents, a total of 19 unsolved cases—including fraud, aggravated theft, and the misuse of bank or credit cards—were resolved under the coordination of the offices of the public prosecutor.
Judicial proceedings have been initiated against 26 individuals involved in the aforementioned crimes.
