Investigation launched into İmamoğlu's defense in expert witness case!

While Ekrem İmamoğlu's expert witness case was adjourned to July 13, a new investigation has been launched against him on charges of "insult and threat" due to statements he made in his defense.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu appeared before the judge in the fourth hearing of the case filed against him due to his statements regarding expert witness S.B. The court adjourned the case to July 13.

The words he uttered during the hearing brought about a new process. The Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into İmamoğlu on charges of "insulting and threatening a public official due to their duty" because of the expressions he used addressing members of the judiciary involved in the corruption investigation conducted into the IMM.
