Investigation launched into British economist Timothy Ash for 'insulting the President'

An ex officio investigation has been launched into British economist Timothy Ash on charges of "insulting the President" due to his speech at a finance meeting in Bodrum attended by businesspeople.

It was stated that Ash made criticisms regarding world leaders during the meeting and also mentioned President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during his speech.
