TWO CHARGES FILED

An operation was conducted at the residence of Nasuh Mahruki the night before last, after the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued a detention warrant for him on charges of 'publicly disseminating misleading information' and 'insulting judicial bodies.' Mahruki, who was not at his residence during the operation, could not be taken into custody.

INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED

The Press Crimes Investigation Bureau of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has initiated an investigation into Nasuh Mahruki for the crimes of 'publicly disseminating misleading information' and 'publicly insulting judicial bodies' due to the statements he used in his social media posts.
