An investigation had been opened... Sinan Çetin gave a statement as a 'suspect'

Director Sinan Çetin has given a statement as a 'suspect' within the scope of an investigation opened against him for "violation of the Bosphorus Zoning Law" and "causing zoning pollution." 

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had launched an investigation into Sinan Çetin following reports that he had built 4-5 illegal structures on his land in Sarıyer. 

Within the scope of the investigation, Çetin's statement was taken as a "suspect" by the Zoning Crimes Investigation Bureau.

The statement process lasted approximately 1 hour. As he left the courthouse, Çetin responded to questions from journalists by saying, "I have never seen such a ridiculous thing."
