Invitation from Turkey to global giants: Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos invited to Investment Advisory Council meeting
Turkey has sent invitations to CEOs of major companies for the Investment Advisory Council meeting, which will be held after an eight-year hiatus. Senior executives of global giants such as Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos have also been invited to the meeting, which is planned for September 28.

The Investment Advisory Council meeting, which has not been held for eight years, will take place this year on September 28 at the Dolmabahçe Working Office. According to information obtained by CNBC-e, CEOs and chairmen of the world's leading companies, primarily Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, have been invited to the meeting.
In the invitation letters sent to senior figures of numerous companies and international organizations such as the World Bank, signed by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, a response regarding participation was requested by August 23.
At the meeting, which will be held following the update on the Medium-Term Program, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will explain the progress made in the Turkish economy and issue a call for investment in Turkey.
FOCUS IS ON CHINESE AND GULF COMPANIES
The Investment Advisory Council meeting, to be held after an eight-year break, is expected to be marked by the presence of Chinese and Gulf companies, which are expected to invest in Turkey in the near future.
The International Investors Association (YASED) also attaches importance to the participation of its member companies in the meeting to ensure high attendance and to discuss changes in the investment climate in Turkey. Invitations to attend the meeting have also been extended to the global executives of YASED members.
