Raisi argued that the operation against Israel was carried out within the scope of "legitimate defense" in response to the attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria.
Iranian President Raisi noted that they would respond more strongly to any attempt made against his country.
Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Commander Hossein Salami also said, "They will target Israel if it targets Iranian interests and assets."
