Iraq and Jordan close their airspace
Iraq has announced that it has closed its airspace following the drone attacks launched from Iran toward Israel. Jordan, meanwhile, stated that its airspace has been temporarily closed to all flights due to the "escalation of dangers in the region."

Speaking to the official Iraqi news agency INA, Minister of Transport Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi announced that the country's airspace has been closed to all flights.
The minister stated that all flights within the country have also been suspended.
A statement from the Civil Aviation Authority also reported that the closure of Iraqi airspace is temporary and for precautionary purposes.
The statement added that the airspace is closed to all incoming and outgoing flights until 05:30 local time, and that this could be extended depending on the situation.
The Israeli military had previously announced that Iran had launched a drone attack and that Israeli air and naval forces were monitoring the drones.
JORDAN CLOSES AIRSPACE
According to the country's official agency PETRA, a statement from the Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission announced that Jordanian airspace would be closed to all incoming, outgoing, and transit flights for "several hours" starting from 23:00 local time (23:00 Turkish time).
The statement indicated that this measure would be updated and reviewed based on developments.
It was stated that the decision to close the country's airspace was taken "in order to protect the safety and security of civil aviation in Jordanian airspace due to the escalation of dangers in the region, following an assessment of risks in accordance with international standards."
