Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu explained the measures taken on the roads for the Eid al-Adha holiday. Answering the question of whether public transport will be free in Istanbul during the holiday, Minister Uraloğlu said, "Marmaray, the Kazlıçeşme-Sirkeci Rail System Line, and the Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport line will provide free service in Istanbul throughout the holiday."

ADMINISTRATIVE FINES FOR EXORBITANT PRICING

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made important statements regarding the transport measures and traffic regulations taken ahead of the upcoming Eid al-Adha. Minister Uraloğlu said, "We have taken administrative action against bus operators that do not comply with the rules. We will continue to impose administrative fines on companies that issue bus tickets at exorbitant prices."

Stating that they have also taken important steps to increase the quality of service at airports, the Minister said, "We have increased our number of personnel to ensure there are no problems at all airports, especially Istanbul Airport."
