Following the meeting at İmralı with PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan, the DEM Party delegation visited various political parties.
During these visits, a 7-point text emerged within the framework of the discussions held at İmralı, which led to long-standing debates.
DEM Party's Saruhan Oluç responded to concerns that there might be demands discussed beyond these points that are being hidden from the public.
Participating in a live broadcast on Halk TV, Oluç stated the following:
I do not believe there is anything being hidden from the public; our İmralı delegation announced a 7-point message.
And this was the message from the first meeting held at İmralı; whatever was discussed there was transformed into these points, and progress continues within the framework of the message the delegation conveyed to us...
Perhaps a few more sentences were said regarding the elaboration of each point, but beyond the message received, there is no unknown or secretly discussed side... The delegation also conveys this...
One of the goals of our delegation in these meetings was to listen to and take note of the criticisms and suggestions of the political parties directed at us.
