Operations against the ISIS terrorist organization and the detentions carried out during the tenure of Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya were discussed on a live broadcast. Journalist Barış Pehlivan shared the figures, which were revealed for the first time, with the words 'it scares me'.

On the program titled Kayda Geçsin, broadcast on HalkTV, the operations carried out against the ISIS terrorist organization during the Ali Yerlikaya era, that is, within the last 10 months, were announced.

Journalist Barış Pehlivan announced the information he obtained from Interior Ministry sources on the live broadcast.

Reminding that one of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Russia stated that he had traveled from Turkey, Pehlivan said that 1,391 operations have been carried out so far and 2,939 people have been detained in these operations. 

Stating that 709 of those detained were arrested and 565 were released under judicial control, Pehlivan noted that based on the figures, almost 2-3 operations were carried out per day.

Sharing the information that there are currently 1,053 ISIS members imprisoned in Turkey, Pehlivan used the expression, "Thinking about how 3,000 ISIS militants have been sheltered and organized in this country scares me."
