Cold weather precaution from İSKİ: 'Insulate meters and pipes'

Due to the snowfall and cold weather wave expected to affect Istanbul, İSKİ has issued a warning to its subscribers via SMS. İSKİ stated that in order to prevent malfunctions caused by freezing, exposed water pipes and meters should be covered and insulated with insulating materials to prevent contact with cold air.
