İsmail Saymaz catches a striking detail in Uçum's article: 'He would have been placed in the cell next to Ahmet Özer'

Chief Advisor to the President Mehmet Uçum made a statement on his social media account addressing the current topic of Ahmet Özer. İsmail Saymaz pointed out a striking detail in the text written by Uçum, in which he drew attention to the balance between the judiciary and politics.

Uçum shared a statement on his social media account titled 'Political engineering through the Esenyurt operation'.

In his article, Chief Advisor to the President Mehmet Uçum, who touched upon the investigation conducted into Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer and the statements made by the CHP, included the following expressions:

"SATURDAY ARTICLE

POLITICAL ENGINEERING THROUGH THE ESENYURT OPERATION!

Attempts are being made to bring political debates to the forefront through the terror investigation conducted regarding the Mayor of Esenyurt.

For example, the distortion and propaganda that 'the real target of this operation is İmamoğlu' are being spread. Others are trying to undermine the investigation through their own political agendas.

The meaning of this is that some circles are in an approach that exploits and uses Ahmet Özer. Those who exploit Ahmet Özer for their own political and personal agendas are also trying to devalue the legal aspect of the terror operation.

In fact, trying to pressure the current terror investigation through its effects on politics and to accelerate the İmamoğlu project or other political/personal projects from this point is to ignore the dynamics of politics and society. 

The burden of politics cannot be placed on the courts and the offices of the Chief Public Prosecutor. Thousands and tens of thousands of investigations, prosecutions, and court decisions naturally have an impact on society and politics. It is the duty of the politician to evaluate these effects correctly and take appropriate attitudes, not the judges and prosecutors. 

The judiciary, with its prosecutors, judges, and institutions, does its own job; it does not act or make decisions by considering politics. The judiciary does not act by taking into account the current political debates and how its actions will affect what and how. The judiciary has no such duty or obligation. When the judiciary takes an action, it does not do its job by looking at what the effect on politics will be in the future. An independent and impartial judiciary does what its duty requires. 

For this reason, those who threaten prosecutors and judges for doing their jobs and try to humiliate them are in a great mistake. Furthermore, doing so is 'neither anyone's right nor their place'. Again, politics that is tried to be produced through judicial proceedings, especially a terror investigation, is of no use to anyone. 

The People of Turkey/voters have the experience to evaluate such behind-the-scenes games very well. It is necessary to evaluate the processes of terror investigation and prosecution in terms of law and security. The engineering plans of those who exploit these for their own personal and political agendas will not find a response in society.

Let it never be forgotten that the Society of Turkey handles and supports the struggle given against terror in every way and in every medium, and the measures taken, with an approach that is above parties. Those who ignore this reality and attempt to engage in engineering politics by exploiting operations against terror will sooner or later be held accountable to the People of Turkey. 

Finally, let us state this; it is out of the question for these events to hinder or slow down the goal of a "Terror-Free Turkey". More importantly, none of this can have the slightest negative effect on the great paradigm shift expressed by our President Erdoğan; those who expect this are very much mistaken."

'TURKISH PEOPLE' REMINDER FROM İSMAİL SAYMAZ

Quoting Mehmet Uçum's article, İsmail Saymaz made a striking comment based on the expressions Uçum used in his text.

Pointing out that Chief Advisor to the President Uçum used the phrases 'people of Turkey and society of Turkey' in his article where he criticized the CHP, Saymaz said that Uçum could not say 'Turkish people' in order not to disrupt the reconciliation process.  

Saymaz underlined that if an opposition politician had shared the same text, they could have been thrown into prison.

İsmail Saymaz made the following post:

"Chief Advisor to the President Uçum has adapted to the 'process'.

He says people of Turkey twice, and society of Turkey once. 

Due to the process, he cannot say 'Turkish people'.

Has Article 66 of the Constitution been shelved or what?
