Israel at war, cabinet members in dispute: 'We shouldn't think about the hostages, we need to be tough'
It has been reported that a dispute broke out among cabinet members during a session where the Israeli government was discussing the attacks launched from Gaza.

According to a report published by the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation KAN, the government held a session to address the attacks launched from the Gaza Strip into Israel.
Minister of Science and Technology Ofir Akunis reacted to the failure to foresee the attacks, stating, "Today, every citizen is asking what happened to Israeli intelligence."
It was noted that Israeli Minister of Diaspora Affairs Amichai Chikli called for them to "be quiet" in response, to which another minister retorted, "Don't tell us to be quiet!"
Israeli Minister of Environmental Protection Idit Silman stated that the Ministry of Health had not provided her with information regarding the ambulance center.
WHAT WILL BE DONE ABOUT THE HOSTAGES?
Upon this, Minister of Health Moshe Arbel used a "sarcastic" tone, saying, "If you want, you can become the Deputy Minister of Health," to which Silman replied, "I don't care where the ambulances are, I am just stating that they are not working."
Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich also expressed his view in his speech at the session that "they should now be tough and not think too much about the Israelis in Hamas's hands."
THE TOLL IS RISING
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza had announced that 313 people had lost their lives and 1,990 people had been injured in Israel's attacks on Gaza.
In the Israeli press, it was announced that 350 Israelis had died so far in the attacks launched by the armed wing of Hamas, and the number of wounded across the country had risen to 1,864.
